Rosemary Beach

Rosemary Beach public square

Any 30A town would make a fine vacation destination but Rosemary Beach’s charming and refined atmosphere is hard to beat.

With its European-inspired buildings and cobblestone streets, Rosemary Beach feels like it has tons of history. It’s actually one of the newer 30A communities! This town is incredibly walkable, with lots of green spaces and a vibrant local population.

Here’s a rundown on places to go and things to do in Rosemary Beach, as well as a couple of Rosemary Beach rentals from All 30A Properties if you decide this is the place for you.

Best Restaurants in Rosemary Beach

There are endless options for dining in this little beach town. You should definitely try to experience as many as you can! Here are just a few of the best restaurants in Rosemary Beach, so that you have somewhere to start.

Havana Beach Bar & Grill

Inside The Pearl hotel, you’ll find the award-winning Havana Beach Bar & Grill. The cuisine is a blend of Gulf Coast and Caribbean and, luckily, you don’t have to be a guest at the hotel to indulge in the fare.

You can choose to dine in the main area, the lounge, the veranda, or the rooftop bar. At the latter location, you’ll get some of the best sunset views in town.

La Crema Tapas & Chocolate

La Crema Tapas & Chocolate has all the decadent desserts and Spanish starters you could possibly want!

This is one of the best restaurants in Rosemary Beach and it’s right on Main Street, so it’s hard to miss. You definitely won’t want to miss all of the delicacies offered here, from chocolate fondues to artisan cheeses and an endless range of tapas.

Pescado

For brunch, dinner, or cocktails, take a stroll down (or up, rather) to Pescado. It’s located on the top floor of the Orleans building, west of the Rosemary Beach Town Hall.

Pescado is a casual fine dining restaurant, featuring a seafood grill and rooftop bar that overlooks the community and the dazzling Gulf of Mexico. The sunsets from up here are breathtaking!

Things to Do in Rosemary Beach

Rosemary Beach is divided by the 30A into two halves: the north side and the south side. Both are filled with shops, restaurants, boutiques, and parks, offering lots to do all day! On the south side, you’ll also find walkovers to take you to the sugar-sand beaches.

Rent a Bike

Rosemary Beach was specifically designed to be walkable and bike-friendly. Take advantage of that intentional design and rent a bike! Cycling is a great way to get out and explore the many things to do in Rosemary Beach.

Shop ‘Til You Drop

There are so many quaint, local-owned shops in town. Even if you don’t plan to buy anything, a little window shopping never hurt anyone!

You can head over to Disco for fun, female-focused fashion. The Hidden Lantern Bookstore has an array of literature, as well as board games for the family. At the heart of town, you’ll find the Rosemary Beach Farmers’ Market, where you can support local farmers. Those are just the tip of the iceberg!

Light a Bonfire at the Beach

You’ll probably be spending a lot of time at the beach anyways, so why not make the experience even more special with a bonfire?

There are multiple companies in and around Rosemary Beach that will set up bonfires for you. They offer different packages and can often provide decorations, speakers, trash cans, and even food! That way, you can focus wholly on the experience with your loved ones.
